Extension 2-1/2" X 20" Poly

I ordered two extensions, they shipped and arrived quickly. They installed easily however, they were slightly out of round and the OD was approximately 3/8" smaller than my tanks.

Note: If your tanks are at ground level, like mine, I recommend running a heavy bead of silicone between the tank and the extension during installation and installing 4 evenly spaced stainless screws to secure them. This will keep water/debris from entering the tank during heavy rain run off.

My existing lids would install and turn to lock but the inside diameter (ID) was approximately 5/8" out of round (to one side) so I had to trim the ID on one side of each extension to allow the lids to slide over and align the OD with the tanks.

Well designed ring for its job. The price is decent,but the shipping and handling charges were twice the cost of the products. Totally unreasonable due to the light weight of the product. You could carry it around on two fingers!
